MASTER PROGRAM
Joint Degree (Double Degree) with Michigan State University
The program’s target is to produce graduates who are able to think globally and conduct
research of international quality. This can be achieved by the Program through quality
equality (curriculum, quality of teaching and teaching, quality of research and supporting
activities) between PPIA and world-class partner universities. With the equality of quality,
it is hoped that there will be an exchange process of students, teachers, researchers
between PPIA and partner universities.
The Master of Science in Accounting program at MSU offers three specializations, namely
Taxation, Public and Private Accounting, and Information Systems. This collaboration is
also expected to achieve the goal of diversifying the joint degree program at PPIA by
offering 2 (two) benefits for students, namely gaining sufficient knowledge at PPIA to
conduct quality research and gain knowledge of accounting science and deepening of
accounting topics at MSU which in the end also will support and improve the quality of
research to be carried out.
Requirements:
1. A minimum GPA of 3.5 in the undergraduate program or a minimum of 600 (out of 800)
on the UI national standard test.
2. Minimum English proficiency requirement: IELTS Overall Band Score of 6.5 and a minimum
score of 6 in each sub-band of writing, reading, speaking and listening, or TOEFL
(Internet-Based-IBT) overall score of 87 with a writing score of 22 and reading, speaking and
listening score of 19, or TOEFL (Paper-based) overall score of 570 and a minimum score of 5.0
on the last Test of written English (TWE).

proficiency requirement may be waived for students with-

online, and not an “experiential” degree (where credits are given for life
experiences).
b. MS in Accounting applicants with at least 3 years of US-based,
English-speaking Full-Time work experience.
c. In most cases, candidates who are citizens from the following countries may
